First of all, read what a crisis is, and is not:
A crisis is you feeling like you might harm yourself or someone else. If you do feel this way, you need to talk with someone who is trained to respond to such crises right away. You can talk to someone live 24/7 at one of the numbers below.
If you're one of my clients I consider a crisis to be anything you consider to be a crisis. Email or call me!
For everyone else, a crisis is not:
If you're one of my clients I consider a crisis to be anything you consider to be a crisis. Email or call me!
For everyone else, a crisis is not:
- You, or someone else, gets norovirus (This may feel like a crisis, but it isn't. No harm will come to you!)
- You feel nauseous, no matter how bad (Again, it feels scary, but it isn't. Vomiting won't hurt you.)
- You ate something you later wonder about. (Even if you get food poisoning, it's not dangerous. It's just annoying)
If you're a client or a previous client and in crisis right now...
I am often available by email, which comes to my iPhone. It doesn't matter which email address of mine you use, they all come through to my phone. My normal address is annachristie@shaw.ca If you are a client and would like to phone me you can call 1-604-218-8042. However, I may not be available by email or phone for a number of reasons such as:

_Try to remember that being in crisis is a feeling
even though it is a strong feeling. Crises pass, feelings change, pain
and grief lessens and fears can be relieved. It's not the end of the
world, or your life. So never, ever, ever make a decision when you're in
crisis! ANY decision. Call someone and they will help you through it!
